Tin Tabernacle Kilburn

The tin church holds
No grim-faced saints.
Grey blistered paint spites the riveted arches.
Corrugated iron, but the Victorians got  their Gothic.
Inside, it's marine ply, varnished:  lifebuoys: flags.
Shipshape.

  1. The tin Tabernacle in Kilburn is one of very few tin churches built by the Victorians. It has been home to Sea Cadets as SS Bicester, and is kitted out as a boat inside. Amazing.
